Eretz Yisroel is the holiest piece of land on this planet.
It also happens to be a great mitzvah to live here (equal to performing all 613 mitzvos).
It's also our homeland and eternal heritage given to our forefathers by the Creator of the universe.
But these are not the reasons that should make a Jew want to live here.
The reason we all need to live here is because Hashem created the world with a very specific goal and purpose.
Hashem then created three elements that would be needed to complete this task:
The Jewish people, the Torah and Eretz Yisroel.
The Jewish People - are the ones tasked to carry out the mission.
The Torah - is the instruction book on how to do it.
Eretz Yisroel - is the location where we complete the mission.
Without any one of these three elements, the entire purpose of creation would not be able to be completed.
(And of course, this is all besides the fact that there are hundreds of teachings of Chazal as to the spiritual advantages and great blessings that come to one who lives in this Holy Land).
Due to our very long and bitter galus and our many years outside the Land of Israel, many Jews have forgotten the central role that Eretz Yisroel plays in our lives and in our destiny.
Due to many reasons and a long and complicated history, the study of Tanach has been neglected, and with it, the understanding of our unbreakable connection to Eretz Yisroel has become misunderstood.
And because we have been through so many difficulties and for nearly 2,000 years we have been exiled from our home, all we have been able to do is cry out to Hashem and pray for our return to the Holy Land and the coming of Mashiach.
In short, with very little hope in sight, our default spiritual position has become to simply survive as a nation and religion. All of the writings, teachings, and prophecies of our great post-exile future have taken the form of a miraculous dream that can only come to be through miraculous events, and all we can do is wait patiently for the Mashiach to come and save us.
But as always, Hashem generally hides His great miracles in the form of nature, in a slower and more gradual process . He prefers that we put in the work and that we show Him that we are willing to do anything to come close to Him.
And so Hashem has given us another chance to come home to Him. He has reopened the gates of our heritage - Eretz Yisroel.
Hashem is giving us one of our final tests, and all He is asking us to do is come back to Him.
But it seems millions of Jews are still stuck in the galus mentality, and cannot see what is right in front of them.
It seems that proving to Jews beyond a reasonable doubt that we are living in the days of the Mashiach is not enough.
The Satan has used the distractions of chutz l'aretz (America) to stop us from reaching our spiritual potential and destiny.
It seems that the only way to fix this is from the ground up.
Jews need to know what the Torah and the sages tell us about Eretz Yisroel, and that it is only through this Land that we can have a better future and see the end of our exile.
But unfortunately, our yeshivas do not teach much or even any Tanach, and our Rabbanim put little to no emphasis on the teachings of our prophets.
So we have a lot of work to do.
Here at Homebound, we have made it our life's mission to spread the truth about Eretz Yisroel and to give Klal Yisroel the information, motivation, and inspiration to be able to beat the Satan and Western society, and to complete our mission for once and for all.
To do this we use high quality video content, social media, and anything else at our disposal to spread the truth about our Land, and to reawaken the desire that every Jew has in their soul to return to the palace of our King.
And if we are successful, we will certainly hasten the coming of the Mashiach.
